The 2026 ATA Show floor was full of new bowhunting gear, including crossbows. The technology hasn’t changed much in the past few years, but companies continue to make enough tweaks to boost speeds, improve accuracy, and elevate overall performance and reliability.
That’s what the 2026 class of crossbows is all about — small tweaks that made noticeable changes. Check out the eight great new crossbows below.
TenPoint TRX Ultra

The all-new TRX Ultra by TenPoint is loaded with effectiveness. Its safe de-cocking feature is ideal for the utmost in safety prioritization. In part, it implements the ACUslide MAXX to achieve this. It measures 29.5 inches long (without foot stirrup), 11.75 inches wide uncocked, and 6 inches wide cocked.

Excalibur REVX TD

The all-new REVX TD by Excalibur is a feature-rich recurve-based crossbow. Even so, it shoots up to 400 fps. It requires 16 pounds of draw effort (with ChargerX Crank).
The Quick-Loc technology allows the crossbow to be disassembled and reassembled very quickly (with one button), and it does so while maintaining consistent point of impact. It also comes with the ChargerX Integrated Crank, which is lightweight, easy to use, and makes cocking and de-cocking easy and safe.
The HO recurve limbs are crafted to maximize efficiency and durability. The Ceasefire Anti-Dry Fire prevents the crossbow from being able to fire without an arrow nocked, safety off, and trigger being pulled. Those who purchase this crossbow also get its premium trigger and the soft case.

Lastly, new and avid crossbow enthusiasts alike should look at the STX by Killer Instinct. It features the MRX Trigger Box and X Cam for improved accuracy and performance. Per the name, it shoots at speeds up to 405 fps.
The bow is very narrow, measuring 6.7 inches axle-to-axle (cocked). Also, the bow is 31.25 inches long. It has a 13.5-inch power stroke, 195-pound draw weight, and delivers 142.08 foot pounds of energy. The 3-pound trigger is very smooth. The bow weighs 9.5 pounds.
