Author Barb Melloni was primed for a day of shooting at Beretta’s special 2026 range day.

To mark the occasion, select members of the media were invited to the Pro Gun Club in Las Vegas for an exclusive range event ahead of SHOT Show. After the opening ceremonies wrapped up, it was time to hit the range. Attendees had the chance to go hands-on with not only the latest offerings from Beretta, but also its sister brands Sako, Tikka, Stoeger, and Burris. A special Beretta x Garmin partnership was also on display.

A clear theme emerged across the board. Refined design paired with thoughtful technological advances showed up not only in brand-new releases, but also in updates to existing product lines. This attention to detail elevated both the firearms and the overall shooting experience.

As the morning rolled on and lead flew downrange, several favorites caught our eye. Here’s what we found ourselves going back to shoot time and time again.

Feeling the New Beretta B22 Jaguar Metal Competition

New Beretta B22 Jaguar Metal Competition

Shooting the new B22 Jaguar Metal Competition was a dream, thanks in part to features born from Beretta’s partnership with Tandemkross. These upgrades include an adjustable, textured trigger, Accelerator Thumb Ledge, Steam Demon Compensator, and configurable left- or right-side ejection.

Thanks to the pistol’s chassis-based fire control system and tool-less disassembly, swapping out the grip frame is quick and straightforward. The new Jaguar comes with Tandemkross’s fiberoptic front and rear sight. The rear sight is adjustable. For shooters who prefer glass over irons, this gun also features a Picatinny rail up top for your preferred red dot.

If you’re anxious to get your hands on one of these sweet competition pistols, you’ll have to wait. This one isn’t due out until Spring 2026.

Range Time With the Beretta 80x Cheetah .32 ACP

Beretta 80x Cheetah .32 ACP

Beretta teamed up with Langdon Tactical to deliver an evolved version of their 80x Cheetah, now chambered in .32 ACP. This DA/SA handgun quickly became a favorite among our group, especially the suppressed models. Beretta brought several variations of this small but capable pistol for testing, giving attendees a chance to see the different configurations soon to be available to the general public.

This new DA/SA pistol had a light, crisp single-action trigger press, preceded by a noticeably heavier first shot, as expected from a handgun designed for concealed carry. Once the trigger broke, it broke cleanly and had a quick reset, getting us back on target and ready for the next shot. With optional direct-milled optics, standard or threaded barrel options, and a variety of ergonomic upgrades, this new 80x Cheetah strikes a strong balance between classic design and modern innovation.

Beretta released several additional handguns this year, including the 92G Elite LTT II, B22 Jaguar Tac Metal, and M9A4 Overlanding.

Several new scattergun releases were on hand, including the 688 Performance XTrap, the A300 Ultima Patrol Multicam Black, and the A300 Ultima Patrol Raider. Beretta also showcased new camo patterns and solid colorways across the AX800 Suprema and A300 Ultima lines.
